The level sensor uses ultrasonic pulses to measure the distance to the target, for example snow depth or water level. The integrated temperature sensor automatically compensates for the velocity changes in the air due to temperature changes.

100% solar powered
The level sensor is powered and connected via the RS232 interface to the TrackIce NB Solar Module. The Solar Module is 100% powered by solar energy and communicates with Narrowband IoT and is therefore not dependent on any type of fixed infrastructure.
